1. Moses was hesitant in catching the wave.
· God shaped Moses for forty years of service by his early life of 40 years in Egypt and then 40 years in the wilderness.
· God gave Moses 3 things to help deliver the people:
· His name to tell the people
· Miraculous signs to prove God’s power
· A spokesman to speak for Moses in Moses’ brother Aaron.
· God’s purposes were fulfilled in Moses’ life.
2. Jonah was reluctant in catching the wave.
· God told Jonah what He planned to do.
· Jonah ran from God and tried to hide.
· Jonah finally went to Nineveh as God instructed.
· After warning Nineveh, Jonah was still reluctant for God to save Nineveh.
3. Peter was energized in catching the wave.
· Peter had been a leader among the twelve.
· Peter had been changed.
· Peter spoke after being filled with the Holy Spirit.
· God demonstrated His power and about 3,000 were added to the number of believers in Christ.
